Watch bracelet end links

End links are the bracelet pieces that meet the watch case. They're shaped to the lugs so the bracelet flows out of the case instead of leaving a gap.
Why they matter
Well-fitted end links make a bracelet feel like part of the watch. Poor ones leave sharp gaps, pull hair, or sit at an awkward angle. Solid end links are machined from one piece. Folded or hollow ones save weight and cost and feel lighter and rattlier.
Swapping to a strap
Switch to leather or a NATO and the end links come off with the bracelet. Integrated designs without standard spring-bar gaps are much harder to put on a strap. End-link fit is a big part of why one bracelet watch looks right in photos and another looks off.
